Job Description
In the Precision Strike & Sensing Solutions (PS) business area we design and manufacture state-of-the-art systems and technology that enable our customers to execute their precision strike missions. Within this setting, our Operations employees turn innovative engineering designs into real solutions to meet our customers’ needs. From Supply Chain, to manufacturing and test, Electronic Systems offers opportunities to work with technology rarely accessible in other manufacturing firms. In this role you will have an opportunity to support the munitions acceleration team (MAT) supply chain team overseeing the ramp to rate activities of the Precision Guidance and Sensing Solutions (PGSS).

In this role you will:
  • Drive and validate technical priorities and capacity assessments with strategic suppliers to meet BAE Systems long term production rates.
  • Manage the execution of subcontracts for funding of suppliers to ensure they can meet BAE Systems delivery rates.
  • Partner with Supply Chain Planning, General Procurement and Subcontracts to ensure the supply base is well prepared for increases in production rates.
  • Collaborate with production programs to ensure Munition Acceleration strategies remain aligned with production programs.
  • Participate and support Supply Chain Risk Management activities within the PGSS product line.
  • Support Dual sourcing activities remaining aligned to production programs long term strategies.
