As a Finance Systems Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring the optimal performance of business-critical Project Performance Management (PPM) applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including vendors, end users and internal BAE IT, to identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues, while providing guidance on application usage, training, and support.
In this job, you will:
Work independently, but in a cross-functional team environment
Utilize strong communication skills to interface with the Finance organization as well as IT and beyond
Identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues related to PPM applications, collaborating with BAE IT and vendors to ensure minimal disruption to business operations
Work closely with application vendors, end users, and internal BAE IT teams to support, update, and maintain applications in a compliance-focused environment
Provide guidance on application usage, including recommendations for best practices and optimization
Deliver training and support to end users, ensuring users are equipped to effectively utilize applications and achieve business objectives
Play a critical role in application updates and in leading requirements gathering efforts to translate business needs into functional requirements and functional requirements into IT/vendor solutions.
Identify and understand up- and down-stream application impacts and accommodate for or mitigate risks accordingly
Develop change management and communication plans
Assist in driving user adoption and measuring success
Provide end user as well as developer support
Maintain a prioritized list of requests/projects and prepare updates regarding on-hold and in-flight efforts
Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology or other related business discipline with 4+ years’ applicable experience or Master’s Degree with 2+ years’ experience
Experience with Deltek Cobra and wInsight front end applications and databases
SQL experience and experience with data structures, Business Intelligence, etc.
Training experience and strong communication and inter-personal skills
Experience with requirements development
Possess strong written communication skills and the ability to work with functional and technical teams
Must have strong testing methodology, problem-solving, analytical and in-depth research skills
Be able to prioritize and self-manage a multi-tasked workload in a fast-paced, compliant environment
Experience trumps education provided the above are met
Earned Value awareness
Audit experience
C*CERT, ProPricer and/or Proteus experience
Enterprise Performance Management (ERP) experience or awareness
Experience with other project performance management tools as well as Microsoft Project and M365
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $97008 - $164914
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
