The Operations Strategic Capabilities Unit plays a fundamental role in enabling efficient business and program execution – from strategic capital investments, industrial operations and an efficient supply chain, to state-of-the-art manufacturing and test operations and top-notch facilities management.
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct preventive maintenance, repair, installation, commissioning, and general servicing of building automation control systems (BAS) (including detailed troubleshooting). Responsible for high levels of customer satisfaction through direct, onsite customer interaction, and for completing required project/service documentation.
- Based on assignment, employee may perform the following functions:
- Diagnose and repair routine electronic control system malfunctions.
- Provide sketches of field changes and discrepancies for engineering corrections and drawings.
- Communicate across organizations upon arrival and before leaving the work site.
- Meet regularly with internal customers to become familiar with operating problems.
- Keep internal customers informed of the nature of service provided, outstanding issues, and recommended system enhancements, upgrades, and/or repairs.
- Manage assigned work to meet professional execution, time, and internal customer satisfaction standards.
- Report problems or changes to management immediately.
- May provide training on electronic control systems operations.
- Support the maintenance staff on complex & critical equipment.
- Install building automation systems.
- Service and repair various types of BAS software and components.
- Diagnose operating issues and determine solutions.
