Ready to make a difference? BAE Systems is looking for Systems Engineering Leads to work as part of a cross-functional, multi-disciplinary team to design, integrate, debug, and test next generation EW systems. Focused on delivering innovative Electronic Warfare (EW) solutions, individual technical contributions on a related range of Programs will include system development, requirements development, integration & test, and test planning and execution in a field deployment environment. Responsibilities may include:
- Leading a medium or large team of Systems Engineers on EW related programs
- Managing all system engineering content and work products
- Understanding and implementing the product development process
- Schedule and cost account responsibilities for systems team
- Execution of systems planning and requirements development
- Creation and review of systems requirements to include: software, component, subsystem, and operational concepts
- Allocation of requirements to engineering disciplines
- Creating system test plans, procedures and reports
- Leading product design, development, integration, and verification
- Will have outside contact with customers, other contractors and government officials.
- Manage and participate in trade studies, peer reviews, and customer meetings
- Preparing and delivering technical presentations internally and with customers.
- Monitor and report metrics such as System Technical Performance Measures
- Supports proposal development activities, including proposal text development, cost and schedule estimating, and presentation activities.
