Job Description BAE Systems is searching for a Senior Network Administrator to plan, install, and support secure Cisco network hardware for LAN/WAN, Wireless networks, and UPS units.
As a Senior Network Administrator, you will have the following responsibilities:

Full-Time Salary Range: $97008 - $164914
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

As a Senior Network Administrator, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Function as a leader in small group projects and team objectives
- Support and maintain all network hardware (LAN and SD-WAN)
- Involved with major network installations and upgrades.
- Install and configure network communications systems including physical infrastructure build outs.
- Support day-to-day service requests and trouble tickets using enterprise ServiceNow ticket system.
- Provides specifications and detailed diagrams using standard templates for network baseline documentation.
- Provide cost estimates for both LAN hardware and physical cable infrastructure for supported projects using standard ROM templates
- Lead the planning and assessment phases of projects and assist with project design/implementation phases.
- Maintaining compliance documentation including both hardware and IOS standards.
- Use enterprise tools to help support and troubleshoot wired and wireless network infrastructure.
- Work directly with vendors and contractors to support project requirements.
- Work with customer and assist in identifying specific requirements and design moderately complex network systems.
- Participate with planning and assessment phases of projects and assist with project design/implementation phases
Bachelors degree (or at least 10 years of experience) or equivalent experience
- Cisco certifications preferred (CCNA/CCNP)
- Strong understanding of network architectures, protocols, and technologies.
- Strong working experience with networking tools such as Cisco Catalyst Center, Cisco Identity Service Engine(ISE), vManage, and NetBrain
- Experience configuring Cisco switches using CLI (command line interface)
- Experience configuring and maintaining Cisco SD-WAN routers
- Experience installing and maintaining UPS units
- Ability to read and understand building drawing/plans/maps
- Knowledge of creating and maintaining network IDF/MDF documentation
- Good understanding of DNS and DHCP technologies.
- Good understanding of standard IT environment and infrastructure, including Cisco switches and Wireless APs including the physical infrastructure cabling.
- CCNA/CCNP certification in routing and switching preferred
- Experience working with Cisco CLI
- Good understanding of ServiceNow
- Strong working experience with Cisco tools (Catalyst Center, ISE, vManage)
- Experience managing Cisco SD-WAN environment
- Good understanding of ServiceNow ticketing system
- Knowledge of UPS
- Knowledge of creating and maintaining network IDF/MDF documentation
