The Electrical & Electronic Solutions (EES) department at BAE Space and Mission Systems is seeking a talented and motivated Electrical Hardware Engineer to join our team. This team member will be involved in the development of cutting-edge solutions for program and R&D applications. They will support programs in the Tactical Solutions Strategic Business Unit which delivers mission system solutions, from specialized antennas to electro-optical technologies, to the warfighter. Our systems enhance the performance of various military platforms, from aircraft and land vehicles to ships and satellites, and give warfighters the advantage they need to take action, identify targets and defend against evolving threats.
What You’ll Do:
- Responsible for system and board level circuit development, modeling, and simulation for tactical RF, Lidar, and antenna products.
- Apply innovative design techniques to create defense-oriented, cutting-edge electronic systems.
- Involvement in quick life-cycle research & development efforts.
- Design digital and analog hardware utilizing FPGAs, microprocessors, ADCs/DACs, power supplies, and control circuitry.
- Perform detailed analyses including power dissipation and consumption, stability, reliability, and risk mitigation.
- Interface with Systems Engineers and other disciplines to define functional and performance requirements.
- Work closely with PWB packaging and layout engineers.
