Position Overview

Autodesk is seeking a Principal Technology Vendor Manager to help shape and manage our technology supplier landscape. The Technology Vendor Management team is a critical enabler of Autodesk’s business objectives, ensuring employees and customers have access to secure, resilient, and cost-effective technology that supports innovation, scale, and responsible adoption of emerging capabilities, including AI platforms and tools. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Technology Vendor Management, this role serves as a trusted business partner to one or more business leaders and owns a diverse portfolio of technology suppliers across cloud, SaaS/PaaS, infrastructure, security, professional services, and emerging AI technologies. The Principal Technology Vendor Manager brings strong end-to-end vendor management expertise—from sourcing and contracting through performance, risk, and financial governance—with demonstrated experience managing complex professional services engagements. This role is responsible for building and evolving strategic, mutually beneficial vendor partnerships that deliver measurable business value, improve outcomes, and enable Autodesk to innovate faster and operate at scale.

This position will be based in Vancouver, Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute vendor management strategies aligned to enterprise priorities, enabling resilience, compliance, and cost optimization

  • Lead executive-level business reviews, performance evaluations, and contract renewals with Autodesk’s technology vendors
