The Media, Graphics Compute Technologies (MGC) is at the center of audio, video and graphics support in Apple's innovative products, including the HomePod, Mac, iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Apple TV. MGC's Audio team provides the audio foundation for various high profile features like Spatial Audio, Siri, FaceTime, media capture, and playback. As a Core Audio System Software engineer, you'll be responsible for developing and debugging audio system software for all of Apple's platforms. In particular, you will focus on the way audio is routed through the system, ensuring that any connected devices can be used to their full potential within the complex and feature-rich audio system. You will work across the full spectrum of audio experiences — from FaceTime calls to Siri interactions to media playback — across a wide range of connected accessories including HDMI, USB audio, and Bluetooth.
