Our team powers live streaming experiences in the AppleTV app on Apple platforms and 3rd Party devices. You will contribute to the design and implementation of features, tools, and processes to ensure operational and engineering excellence in delivering live streaming events on the platform. Being a domain expert for live content acquisition, encoding, and delivery, you will drive investigations into any technical issues with the acquisition, ingest, encoding, and delivery. The ASE Live Stream Engineering team is looking for a Live Reliability Engineer to join our Services team. Our services power experiences in the Apple TV app on Apple platforms and 3rd Party TVs.
You will contribute to architectural discussions, create performant solutions, and participate in team development and knowledge growth. You will be a subject matter expert for live content acquisition, broadcast production and delivery. You will collect high-level project requirements, take ownership to lead cross-functional teams, and deliver first-class software.
