You’ll collaborate with engineers across Apple to build tools and APIs to enable cutting edge graphics, machine learning, and compute applications on Apple Silicon devices. The Apple Silicon GPU Driver team within the Media, Graphics Compute Technologies group needs engineers to prototype, develop, and support best on our platform ML based rendering algorithms to drive future GPU HW and SW roadmaps. This engineer will design and implement new MetalFX techniques, tune MetalFX support for new SOCs and platforms, and develop the Apple Silicon GPU driver to support realtime ML workloads. We collaborate with industry specialists across Apple to design future generations of the Metal API, shading language, and Apple Silicon GPUs. You will apply your knowledge of computer graphics, operating systems and machine learning to implement the high performance software that drives Apple-designed GPUs.
