As a Field Operations Engineer you will stand up, execute, and continuously improve Extra Large Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (XLAUV) field operations. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, operations, and customer mission success - owning outcomes in the field and feeding insights back into product development.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Execute AUV Field Operations - Operate and monitor AUVs in real-time, co-ordinate launch and recovery evolutions, and execution of day-to-day operational activities.
- Support Mission Planning & Deployment Execution – Support deployment planning end-to-end, including mission route optimisation, operational risk considerations, and equipment readiness. Identify, source, and kit required XLAUV support equipment to enable effective operations.
