Position Overview
Analog Devices, Inc. (ADI) is seeking a highly motivated and analytically driven Senior Analyst to join our Asia Sales Operations team. This role plays a critical part in supporting the Asia Sales and Global Broad Market teams by delivering high-quality business analytics and reporting, while continuously enhancing Power BI–based business intelligence solutions to support sales execution and strategic decision-making.
This position is business-facing and execution-oriented, with a strong emphasis on enabling Sales Operations and sales teams through reliable, well-designed datasets, reports, and actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
Power BI Development & Reporting
- Design and maintain Power BI datasets / semantic models tailored to Sales Operations use cases, including pipeline, bookings, revenue, customer, product, and territory analytics.
- Develop and maintain DAX measures and calculation logic to support sales KPIs, ensuring alignment with Sales Operations definitions rather than generic enterprise metrics.
- Build, enhance, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards used by Sales Operations analysts and sales teams for day-to-day decision support.
- Continuously improve report performance, usability, and interpretability based on direct feedback from sales users.
Sales Analytics & Insight Delivery
- Deliver standard and ad-hoc reporting as well as actionable insights to Asia sales and Global Broad Market leadership.
- Conduct in-depth customer, pipeline, and business data analysis to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
- Support recurring sales reviews, performance tracking, and management reporting with accurate and explainable metrics.
Cross‑functional Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with Sales Operations, Customer Account Specialists, and regional sales teams to understand reporting needs and translate them into practical BI solutions.
- Work with IT or central data teams, as needed, to improve data availability, data quality, and reporting workflows.
- Contribute to incremental improvements in sales reporting processes and data systems within the Sales Operations scope.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Power BI development, sales analytics, or Sales Operations–focused BI roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Power BI Desktop & Power BI Service
- DAX (measures, basic time intelligence, performance awareness)
- Dataset / semantic model design for reporting
- Solid understanding of sales data and reporting logic, such as pipeline, bookings, revenue, and customer analytics.
Preferred / Strong Advantage
- Hands-on experience using Microsoft Fabric for analytics support (e.g. Dataflows Gen2, Lakehouse, Pipelines).
- Experience with SQL and/or Python for data preparation or analysis.
- Prior experience working directly with sales teams or Sales Operations.
- Exposure to semiconductor, high-tech, or complex sales environments.
Soft Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to continuously learn and adapt to new tools and technologies
- Strong business sense with the ability to balance technical correctness and sales usability.
- Comfortable working in a business-oriented, fast-iteration Sales Operations environment.
- Able to clearly explain data logic, metrics, and insights to non-technical sales stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and pragmatic in problem solving.
