CAPEX Analyst (Semi-Senior) — Semiconductor Manufacturing


Role summary

Own end-to-end CAPEX finance management, including CAPEX cashflow, budgeting/forecasting, governance, fixed asset discipline, and stakeholder-facing reporting (Power BI). Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure project funding readiness, accurate tracking, and clear decision support across SAP, Anaplan, and Power Apps workflows.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Manage CAPEX cashflow planning and tracking (phasing, timing, commitments vs. actual spend).
  • Lead CAPEX budget preparation, loading, and governance; track budget vs. actual and explain variances.
  • Prepare CAPEX forecast updates (monthly/quarterly), including risks/opportunities and recommended actions.
  • Maintain fixed asset governance (CIP monitoring, capitalization timing, transfers, disposals) and support audit/control requirements.
  • Own CAPEX reporting and analytics, including Power BI dashboard build/maintenance and regular performance updates with clear insights.
  • Manage CAPEX data and workflows across SAP, Anaplan, and Power Apps (request intake, approvals, tracking, and reconciliation).
  • Partner with Engineering/Operations/Facilities/Procurement to validate project status, funding readiness, and spend accuracy.
  • Communicate to stakeholders at all levels with clear, consolidated messages and crisp escalation of key issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics (or related).
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in CAPEX budgeting/forecasting and fixed assets in a manufacturing environment (semiconductor preferred).
  • Must-have systems/tools experience: SAP, Power Apps.
  • Strong Power BI capability (data modeling, DAX basics, stakeholder-facing dashboards).
  • Strong Excel skills (data cleansing, pivots; automation mindset a plus).
  • Strong communication skills: able to deliver key messages, consolidate important points, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
