Our primary objective is to design exceptional products that drive the evolution of computing experiences, serving as the cornerstone for enterprise Data Centers, (AI) Artificial Intelligence, HPC and Embedded systems. THE ROLE:
AMD is seeking an experienced and visionary Corporate Vice President (CVP) to lead the Product Management team for our Instinct Data Center GPU Business Unit. This pivotal role will drive the strategy, execution, and growth of AMD's Data Center GPU portfolio, with a particular focus on AI compute solutions.
THE PERSON:
The ideal candidate will have a deep technical understanding of both AI hardware and software, paired with strong business acumen and leadership experience. The CVP will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, architecture, business development, and customer relations, to deliver innovative, market-leading products and ensure customer success.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead Product Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for AMD's Instinct Data Center GPU portfolio, emphasizing AI compute technologies and driving long-term growth in key markets.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, architecture, and product development teams to ensure product offerings meet both customer needs and the latest technological advancements.
- Customer Engagement: Build and nurture relationships with strategic customers, gaining insights into their needs and ensuring successful product adoption across various verticals.
- Market & Competitive Intelligence: Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitor strategies to inform product decisions, positioning, and go-to-market initiatives.
- Business Growth: Identify new business opportunities, define product roadmaps, and work with business teams to ensure alignment with market demand and organizational objectives.
- Team Leadership & Culture: Foster a high-performance culture within the product management team, emphasizing innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
- Effective Communication: Serve as a key spokesperson for the product line, articulating complex technical concepts in a clear, compelling manner to internal teams, executives, and customers.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Proven Experience: Extensive experience in product management, particularly in AI compute or data center GPU domains, with a demonstrated ability to drive successful product outcomes.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of both AI hardware (e.g., GPUs) and software ecosystems, with a solid grasp of how these technologies enable enterprise solutions.
- Business Acumen: Strong track record in developing and executing business strategies that deliver revenue growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
- Leadership Skills: Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing diverse stakeholders, with a focus on driving results and fostering a collaborative, innovative environment.
- Exceptional Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels, including executives, customers, and technical teams.
- Passion for Innovation: A driven, results-oriented individual with a passion for technology, AI, and the future of computing.
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
