Foundational Linux Architecture & Strategy
- Own the Linux foundational software architecture across AMD Embedded/x86 SoCs, covering kernel, BSP, drivers, and platform enablement layers.
- Define and execute a single, scalable Linux foundation strategy supporting Ubuntu, Yocto, and long-term LTS kernels across current and future products.
- Drive upstream-first engagement with the Linux community, ensuring AMD features land cleanly in mainline and are sustainable over product lifecycles.
- Align Linux foundational strategy with SoC roadmaps, product longevity requirements, and security/compliance expectations.
Linux Development Leadership
- Lead teams responsible for kernel enablement, BSP bring-up, device drivers, and feature enablement across CPU, IO, graphics, multimedia, power management, RAS, and real-time domains.
