The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a dynamic ProServe Account Executive (PAE) to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role, you'll be responsible for engaging new and existing customers in transformative projects involving IT Strategy, distributed architecture, and hybrid cloud operations. You'll work closely with ProServe Cloud Architects, Engagement Managers, and Delivery Consultants to drive customer success and business growth. As ProServe’s customer facing relationship owner you’ll be primarily focused on understanding and defining business outcomes for customers by building trust, identifying applicable AWS Professional Services offerings, and creating proposals and securing customer signoff of SOW’s. Following project launch, you will stay connected with the customer to ensure we are delivering the agreed customer business outcomes (CBO) as outlined in the SOW.

Your experience in selling services within the technology/consulting sector, will equip you with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value for customers. You will demonstrate proficiency in consulting, business development, executing sales methodologies coupled with strong analytical, problem-solving, and consulting project management abilities. PAEs performance will be measured against key metrics including but not limited to Revenue, Billable Bookings, and customer satisfaction (CSAT).

The AWS Professional Services organization is a global team of experts that help customers realize their desired business outcomes when using the AWS Cloud. We work together with customer teams and the AWS Partner Network (APN) to execute enterprise cloud computing initiatives. Our team provides assistance through a collection of offerings which help customers achieve specific outcomes related to enterprise cloud adoption. We also deliver focused guidance through our global specialty practices, which cover a variety of solutions, technologies, and industries.

Key job responsibilities
- Lead transformative consulting engagements with Global 500 enterprises, architecting multi-year cloud modernization journeys and strategic IT transformations. Partner with C-suite executives to define ambitious business outcomes and translate technical capabilities into measurable competitive advantage.

- Shape the future of work by consulting on agentic AI-powered operating models—reimagining how organizations leverage autonomous intelligent systems to transform business processes, customer experiences, and operational workflows. Position AWS Professional Services as the trusted advisor for enterprises embarking on their agentic transformation journey.

- Orchestrate complex, high-value engagements by collaborating with elite ProServe teams to deliver flawlessly on mission-critical initiatives. Maintain strategic oversight throughout project lifecycles, ensuring consistent achievement of Customer Business Outcomes while identifying opportunities to expand impact.

- Drive business development across all organizational levels, create compelling proposals, secure sign-off on transformative Statements of Work, and collaborate with Amazon Global Sales teams to execute coordinated account strategies that deliver seamless customer experiences.

Basic Qualifications

- 7+ years of experience in technology consulting or professional services sales
- Proven track record leading enterprise engagements exceeding $5M in contract value
- Demonstrated success engaging C-suite executives in strategic business transformation initiatives
- Experience with cloud computing, IT modernization, or digital transformation programs
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience

Preferred Qualifications

- 10+ years consulting with Global 500 enterprises on multi-year transformation journeys
- Deep expertise in AI/ML, generative AI, or agentic AI operating models
- Track record architecting and delivering complex, multi-phase cloud modernization programs
- Experience translating technical capabilities into measurable business outcomes and competitive advantage
- MBA or advanced degree in business, technology, or related field
- Fluency in German and English; additional European languages valued
- Established executive relationships within Swiss/DACH enterprise accounts
