Join Amazon Devices as Product Manager for Kindle E-readers and drive the strategic vision for one of the world's most beloved reading devices. In this role, you'll lead product management for Kindle in Japan while crafting data-driven sales and engagement strategies that maximize device adoption, customer engagement, and profitability.
Kindle serves millions of readers globally with a proven track record of success. You'll build upon this strong foundation to accelerate the next phase of growth in Japan. You'll operate at the intersection of strategy and execution, leveraging Kindle's leading position to drive sustainable growth. Working with cross-functional teams spanning marketing, finance, operations, and engineering globally, you'll shape initiatives that directly impact millions of customers while influencing worldwide product strategy with insights from Japan.

Key job responsibilities
【主な責任範囲】①販売戦略の推進 – Kindle電子書籍リーダーのプロダクトマネジメント、マーケティング/財務/オペレーション/社内開発チーム/デザイナーなどのクロスファンクションチームとの協働、②需要創出 – 日本におけるKindle販売のためのオンライン/オフラインチャネルでの新規施策の立案・実行、③顧客体験の向上 – 既存顧客の詳細な分析に基づいたエンゲージメント戦略の推進とMAU(月間アクティブユーザー)の拡大、④グローバル連携 – Amazon全体で強固な関係を構築し、日本のKindleビジネス成長に必要なインサイトをグローバル戦略に反映、⑤バイリンガルコミュニケーション – クロスファンクションチームとのプロジェクト推進やシニアマネジメントへのリポートを日本語・英語の両言語で実施

【 Key Responsibilities】
1. Drive Sales Strategy – Lead product management for Kindle E-readers, collaborating with cross-functional teams including marketing, finance, operations, internal development teams, and designers, 2. Generate Demand – Develop and execute new initiatives across online and offline channels to drive Kindle sales in Japan, 3. Enhance Customer Experience – Drive engagement strategies based on in-depth analysis of existing customers and expand MAU (Monthly Active Users), 4. Global Collaboration – Build strong relationships across Amazon and influence global strategy by incorporating insights necessary for Kindle business growth in Japan, 5. Bilingual Communication – Drive projects with cross-functional teams and report to senior management in both Japanese and English

Basic Qualifications

- 7+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience as a product manager or owner
- Experience owning technology products
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
