We are seeking a Finance Manager to join the Supply Chain Finance team. You should be passionate about producing financial analysis enabling management to make breakthrough decisions, drive cash flow, and ultimately delight our customers. This role will own critical forecasting processes for supply chain operations and drive strategic financial insights through data analysis. You should be comfortable with working with ambiguity, diving deep into detail, and be able to communicate the story behind the numbers effectively to both financial and non-financial audiences.

Key job responsibilities
- Lead finance controllership for one or more supply chain leaders, working directly with the AWS Supply Chain organization.
- Prepare and present financial summaries and business insights to Business and Finance Management.
- Build out and enhance financial models, develop business insights and KPI dashboards, and lead ad hoc analyses.
- Develop and implement long range business planning.
- Work with big data and transforming it into insights and information.
- Lead automation efforts of critical processes.
- Confirming compliance with current contracts and controls, while developing new processes and controls to support the growing, global AWS business.
- Identifying and driving process improvements, including creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools and templates.

To support this rapidly growing business, you must be able to think strategically, perform dive deep analytics, and communicate effectively with internal and external senior leadership.

Basic Qualifications

- 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 6+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- 6+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
- 6+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience

Preferred Qualifications

- 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
- 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
- MBA, or CPA
- Knowledge of SQL/ETL
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
