Controllership Lead, FinOps - AR AWS

The Global Accounts Receivable (GAR) team is seeking a passionate Controllership Lead with deep auditing expertise to help achieve our vision of providing a world-class Order-to-Cash (O2C) experience to our internal and external customers in support of Amazon's journey to become Earth's most customer-centric company. The Controllership Lead must be strategic and detail-oriented, with strong accounting and finance skills, robust auditing experience, excellent interpersonal and influencing capabilities, strong organizational and project management abilities, and the capacity to gather business and technical requirements across global teams to drive systems and change management processes. This person will need to roll up their sleeves, work independently, and demonstrate an extremely high level of ownership and ability to dive deep. This leader will seek out opportunities to reduce risk to the business by minimizing manual touches, eliminating process waste, and moving toward scalability and self-service. Leveraging audit experience and deep understanding of control environments, this individual will collaborate with tech teams to implement AI and emerging technologies that strengthen internal controls while improving operational efficiency.
