Sr. Vendor Program Manager - Media Digital Supply Chain, Prime Video

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Vendor Program Manager to lead our Media Digital Supply Chain operations for the North America region scaling to support global initiatives. This critical role will serve as the primary liaison between Prime Video and our Preferred Vendor network, ensuring operational excellence, driving innovation adoption, and optimizing our digital supply chain ecosystem.
This individual will help us shape the future of our digital supply chain architecture, with a passion to innovate, and tackle complex problems. As a Sr. Vendor Program Manager, you will be responsible for owning partnerships and programs that drive innovation and efficiency to enhance the global customer experience, driving across cross-function teams, defining, and distributing new workflows, and partner with product and technology teams to define business requirements. The successful candidate should have experience with Movie and TV content digital delivery standards, formats, spec, and the capacity to acquire new technology concepts quickly.
Key job responsibilities
- Vendor Performance Management: Audit and optimize steady-state delivery performance metrics for North America Preferred Vendors, aligning priorities and maximizing impact for both Prime Video and our vendor partners.
- Portfolio Strategy and Optimization: Lead comprehensive portfolio strategy across all regions (US, EU, APAC) and services (Fulfillment, Localization, Technology, Accessibility, Aggregation), anticipating and addressing studio and customer needs.
- Product Feature Adoption: Facilitate regular connections with Preferred Vendors to communicate upcoming spec and feature updates, ensuring full understanding, compliance, and adoption of Prime Video technical specifications and product requirements.
- Industry Leadership and Innovation: Represent Prime Video at industry events to maintain vendor community relationships, identify emerging technologies and service providers, and provide strategic insights on macro industry trends to inform internal spec and product development.
- Program Roadmap & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Prioritize team roadmap and allocate resources effectively across key initiatives, while proactively identifying risks and opportunities to stay ahead of industry trends.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of Supply Chain, Product Management, Program Management experience- 3+ years of experience in media, entertainment, or digital content industries
- Proven track record of managing complex vendor relationships and driving performance improvements
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive decision-making
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to influence senior stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of media technical specifications, encoding standards, and quality control processes- Experience managing global vendor programs across multiple regions
- Familiarity with localization, accessibility, and content fulfillment workflows
- Track record of driving cost optimization and process improvement initiatives
- Experience representing organizations at industry events and conferences

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
