from Amazon careersWe are seeking a stellar program manager (PM) with operational experience in internet service provider/telecom obligations to join the Global Service Compliance (GSC) team supporting Amazon Leo. Amazon Leo is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world. As a GSC PM, you are dynamic, organized, and experienced, ready to guide and inform specific communications service compliance obligation workstreams. You are responsible for managing complex compliance programs, from planning through to execution, continuously surveilling the Amazon Leo business strategy and regulatory environment to plan and respond to change across one or more domains. You oversee the compliance program approach, implementation, and optimization for 1 or more compliance workstreams, while championing program management best practices across the organization. This role focuses on consumer protection and may expand to include things like enterprise deals across multiple countries and service offerings. You daily collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver world-class compliance solutions that are highly scalable, secure, and flexible while maintaining a strong organizational focus.
