from Amazon careersDuring your internship period as a Construction/Pre-Construction Program Manager Intern, you will be working with and learning side by side from Amazon’s customer obsessed leaders in construction. In this role, you may support in the implementation of the facility network infrastructure, including new builds, retrofits and expansion. You will learn how to partner with internal customers and external stakeholders to earn their trust and engage as a team to deliver results. Some key competencies of the Amazon construction process that will provide learning opportunities include; insisting on the highest standards, supporting the team to ensure that contracted resources deliver work meeting duration and quality targets, thinking big (seeking better ways to serve your customers), influencing internal stakeholders while holding them accountable for their actions, supporting construction managers to ensure all job internal and external team members are on point and maintaining schedules and budgets, helping to invent and simplify innovative solutions that allow for improved processes and results, and supporting more than one project in various locations. This internship opportunity provides for the familiarization of construction, engineering, planning, project management, facilities management, and contract management.
