Regional Safety Engineer, Data Center Health and Safety

Join the world-class safety culture at Amazon Web Services (AWS) and be part of supporting the largest cloud computing infrastructure team as a Regional Safety Engineer. In this role, you'll own the Health and Safety function for your respective area, working directly with the data center engineers who make the cloud go—the people working with electrical switching equipment, large-scale air handling mechanical systems, and critical IT gear. As a Regional Safety Engineer you'll be at the forefront of managing complex safety and risk programs where strategy is defined, but solutions are yours to create. This role offers the unique opportunity to work independently while collaborating with diverse teams—from data center operations to security, compliance and corporate counsel—to advance AWS's global health and safety program. Key job responsibilities Own Regional Health Safety Operations - Lead the Health and Safety function for your region, improving data center safety and protecting employees.
