Amazon seeks a Senior Operations Manager to join our Japan Amazon Logistics team. The goal of Amazon Logistics (AMZL) is to build a world class last mile operation delivering to customers. Amazon aims to exceed the expectations of our customers by ensuring that their orders are delivered as quickly, accurately, and in the most cost effective way as possible and we are expanding rapidly in Japan. Key job responsibilities The Hub Delivery Expansion Capacity Management Lead is accountable for driving partner acquisition strategy, Sales team expansion, and network capacity optimization to meet growing operational demands. The Hub Delivery Expansion Capacity Management Lead will lead the end-to-end aspects of partner onboarding, tracking and reviewing, utilizing technologies like Hugo and CTO for optimal location and partner selection. The position requires close collaboration with the Hub Delivery Program team to execute partner acquisition strategies while ensuring alignment with marketing initiatives and Sales member hiring timelines. The role demands strong leadership skills in scaling the Sales team including hiring of other role members.
