from Amazon careersAmazon Global Store Brazil is looking for an experienced Snr Product Manager to scale profitability by managing pricing and operational input efficiencies. Amazon Global Store allows customers to easily discover a wide selection of international products available from Amazon’s websites around the world, offering simplified customs, faster delivery, local language and payment support, and a world-class customer service. Global Store has presence in multiple countries and will continue to stay at the forefront of Amazon’s global expansion strategy. We are looking for an entrepreneurial, analytical, and creative product leader to drive our initiatives around improving customer experience and the financial health of the business.
In this role, you will use a combination of thought leadership, analytical skills, cross-functional partnership, business judgment, and strategic thinking to innovate on behalf of our customers. You will leverage your knowledge of operational metrics, and experience working with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and ensure the smooth execution of initiatives.
Influencing without authority: Innovative leader with the ability to identify opportunities and influence stakeholders across functions to gain support and overcome resistance with data and persuasion
Strong Communication: Ability to communicate expectations and requirements equally well with business and operations teams at all levels, and capacity to write well-reasoned and data-driven proposals, performing your own data analysis as necessary
Problem Solving: Demonstrate exceptional problem-solving skills, to structure ambiguous situations and to use data analysis to the extent possible to find and drive solutions
Delivering Results: Ability to successfully deliver end-to-end complex projects under tight timelines, working through the multiple constraints along the way
Key job responsibilities
- Define pricing strategy across multiple country arcs
- Own the profitability and conversion metrics
- Engage with global and local business teams, marketing partners, finance and operations stakeholders at all leadership levels
- Partner with compliance teams to meet importation regulatory requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience as a product manager or owner
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
