from Amazon careersWe're seeking a Sr. Technical Program Manager (TPM) to manage programs spanning innovative advertising formats, Ad measurement and Ad privacy on Prime Video.
As a Prime Video technologist, you’ll have end-to-end ownership of the product, user experience, design, and technology required to deliver state-of-the-art experiences for our customers. You’ll get to work on projects that are fast-paced, challenging, and varied. You'll have the unique opportunity to shape the technical vision for Prime Video Advertising across multiple organizations and domains. Key job responsibilities
Program Leadership & Strategy
* Drive end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-functional technical programs spanning multiple teams and organizations
* Define program vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business objectives and technical requirements
* Own program-level decision-making, trade-offs, and prioritization across competing demands
Planning & Cross-Functional Coordination
* Partner with engineering, product, design, operations, and business teams to align on goals and deliverables
* Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership
* Develop comprehensive program plans including scope, timelines, milestones, resource requirements, and success metrics
* Track program health through metrics, dashboards, and regular status reporting
Technical Acumen
* Understand system architecture, technical dependencies, and integration points across services
* Evaluate technical proposals and design documents for feasibility, scalability, and alignment with program goals
* Partner with engineering leaders to make informed technical trade-off decisions
Stakeholder Management
* Communicate program status, risks, and decisions to executive leadership and key stakeholders
* Manage expectations and negotiate scope, timelines, and resources with stakeholders
* Present program updates, business cases, and recommendations to leadership forums
Delivery & Impact
* Ensure on-time, high-quality delivery of program milestones and launches
* Define and track success metrics; measure business impact and customer outcomes
* Own post-launch analysis and iteration based on customer feedback and metrics
Process & Operational Excellence
* Establish and optimize program management processes, tools, and best practices
* Drive continuous improvement in team velocity, quality, and delivery predictability
* Lead retrospectives and implement learnings across programs
* Mentor junior TPMs and contribute to the broader TPM community
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience- 3+ years of software development experience
- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design
- Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

The base salary range for this position is listed below. As a total compensation company, Amazon's package may include other elements such as sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
