More than 300 million customers shop in Amazon’s store, and every day, customers browse, purchase, and review products sold by third-party sellers right alongside products sold by Amazon. Since 2000, Amazon has offered this digital shelf space to individuals and companies of all sizes, helping them reach hundreds of millions of customers, build their brands, and grow their business. Fast-forward to the present day, and these third-party seller products account for more than half of all units sold in our store. This is an exciting opportunity to create and innovate in Marketplace, one of the core pillars of Amazon. Sellers are the life blood of our Marketplace business and new sellers make up a significant portion of both the active seller base and selection contribution. We rely on new Sellers to bring our customers more selection, lower pricing, and better experience. International Seller Services focuses on recruiting 3P sellers and helping them grow their business on Amazon, either through their own logistic networks or leveraging Amazon's global fulfillment and customer service network.
