Procurement Category Manager- Sydney (AU), GCP APAC

Job description

You will create and implement sourcing strategies for multiple categories, collaborate with internal business partners and suppliers to drive efficiencies that reduce risks and costs for Amazon. You will develop mechanisms and metrics to hold suppliers accountable for performance and delivery, and, you will drive results through methods that include competitive bidding, negotiating, and analyzing data to identify market trends for your categories. This role will require strong leadership skills and interaction/influence with teams across Amazon to drive the improvement of procurement function. The ideal candidate will be curious, have strong attention to detail, be energized by a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment, be comfortable thinking big while also diving deep, will have high level EQ and comfort managing senior stakeholders. Your goal is to develop and deliver innovative processes to create financial benefits through procurement. You will be a thought leader on procurement management, possess superior communication skills and thrive when building relationships with customers and suppliers.
