from Amazon careersAmazon World Wide Grocery Store Tech is seeking an experienced and proven Software Development Engineer (SDE) to lead medium to large cross-functional strategic initiatives that support WWGST strategic goals. This is a unique opportunity for someone inspired by WWGST core values and is interested in Amazon’s high-growth grocery business to bring their whole self to the role.
Key job responsibilities
As an SDE, you are responsible for setting a high bar throughout the software development and deployment lifecycle, including design, development, documentation, testing, and operations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software and application development, AWS technologies, business judgment, curiosity, and superior written and verbal communication skills. He/she will work closely with the business and technical teams to analyze many non-standard and unique business problems and use creative problem solving to deliver results.
He/she will be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, able to think big and be creative while paying careful attention to detail and will enjoy working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
