from Amazon careersAs a Robotics Field Engineer at Amazon RIVR, you will be the critical link between our advanced robotics technology and real-world deployment. You will serve as Tier 2 technical support, acting as the primary interface for other Amazon teams when complex issues arise in the field. This role is designed for a technical problem-solver who excels at Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and enjoys the challenge of debugging hardware and software in live environments. Beyond troubleshooting, you will play a strategic role in our development cycle by providing real-world operational insights to our QA teams, ensuring our test cases reflect the unpredictable nature of the field. Key job responsibilities ● Serve as the Tier 2 technical escalation point for field operations, interfacing directly with Amazon last-mile teams to resolve complex system issues. ● Perform deep-dive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on field failures to identify whether issues stem from hardware, software, or environmental factors. ● Execute debugging and perform quick technical fixes to maintain a target ratio of 1 engineer to 5 robots. ● Collaborate with QA Engineers to provide real-world input for the design of full-system test cases, ensuring field edge cases are captured. ● Lead the operational readiness and optimization…
