from Amazon careersWe are seeking a Principal Product Manager – Technical to own and drive the product vision, roadmap, and execution for a next-generation robot platform. This product is designed to validate safety-certifiable architecture and cost-optimized design, bridging our current developer platform and mass-market product. In this role, you will lead cross-functional coordination across hardware engineering, software, safety, science, and operations to deliver a platform that achieves aggressive cost targets while meeting safety certification requirements for unattended autonomous operation in homes. You will define product requirements, manage trade-offs between cost, performance, and safety, and own the end-to-end product lifecycle from first builds through large-scale home deployments and data collection. The ideal candidate thrives at the intersection of hardware, software, and safety-critical systems, with experience shipping consumer or prosumer electronics at scale and a strong technical foundation to drive architecture decisions across compute, sensors, and mechanical design.
