from Amazon careersKey Responsibilities 1. Execute planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules for all refrigeration systems, including tropical rooms, chilled rooms, and frozen rooms. 2. Monitor and maintain optimal temperature parameters across all cold chain zones in strict accordance with defined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). 3. Conduct routine inspections of compressors, condensers, evaporators, expansion valves, and refrigerant piping systems. 4. Ensure refrigerant levels are maintained within specified limits and perform periodic leak detection tests. 5. Monitor and maintain defrost cycles, drain lines, and insulation integrity of all cold rooms. 6. Coordinate with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and third-party service providers for specialized repairs and annual maintenance contracts. 7. Diagnose and resolve refrigeration system faults, including compressor failures, refrigerant leaks, thermostat malfunctions, and evaporator icing. 8. Respond to temperature excursion alarms and execute corrective actions within defined response timelines. 9. Troubleshoot electrical and control system faults in refrigeration panels, PLCs, and Building Management System (BMS) interfaces. 10. Perform root cause identification for recurring equipment failures and implements verified permanent fixes. 11. Maintain and monitor Diesel Generator (DG) sets, including fuel systems, coolant levels, battery health, and periodic load bank testing. 12.
