from Amazon careersWe are seeking a Environmental Compliance Manager to ensure environmental regulatory compliance across 15+ Amazon facilities in Germany, Poland, Czechia, and Slovakia. You will reduce compliance violations, implement risk mitigation programs, and serve as the environmental subject matter expert for the Middle Europe (MEU) region. This role requires technical expertise in environmental regulations, strong stakeholder management skills, and the ability to drive measurable improvements in environmental performance. This role is responsible for ensuring strategy and operational tactics are executed by providing technical guidance to existing operations and future expansion across multiple facilities within their region. Through your guidance sites will understand what they need to do to remain environmentally compliant. The Env Compliance Manager will report to the Business Environmental Leader for MEU through the EU Environmental Assurance and Protection (EAP) team. This role is an Individual Contributor role. The Env Compliance Manager will also partner with the operations leadership teams to execute company environmental procedures and ensure compliance with all applicable specific country, state/province, region and local regulations.
