We are looking for a highly motivated, technically savvy Fiber Delivery Technical Infrastructure Program Manager (FD-TIPM) to help develop and scale one of the world's largest and most complex networks. The FD-TIPM is responsible for managing highly technical, cost efficient, and fast paced communication construction project schedules to keep pace with and enable AWS Network growth. This role will manage a program overseeing design reviews across our rapidly expanding global data center portfolio, with anticipated growth of 33% year over year.
As a FD-TIPM you will be part of a highly creative and efficient team of diverse backgrounds and expertise, tasked with tackling the most fascinating and challenging problems in modern fiber construction. In this role, you will be responsible for training and education of internal stakeholders and external contractors and partners, driving Kaizen process improvements, change management, and communication plans.
Key job responsibilities
• Drive the implementation of large-scale fiber deployments on a global scale
• Collaborate with Stakeholder teams to gather fiber deployment requirements
• Develop and Maintain Process Documentation
• Program Manage pre-terminated fiber cable process from Intake, Engineering, Business Development, Material Acquisition, Deployment and Closeout
• Provide Deployment support for projects, augmenting the local region TIPM across the globe
• Create and maintain performance dashboards and KPIs to measure program effectiveness
• Build and maintain strategic vendor relationships, including developing vendor KPIs and performance metrics
• Drive process improvements through data analysis and stakeholder feedback
• Lead regular executive updates and cross-functional team communications
• Manage program budget and resource allocation across global regions

Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience- Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies, related to infrastructure (i.e. network, data center, hardware, software)
- Experience with varying scenarios of infrastructure builds
Preferred Qualifications
- • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent experience- • 5+ years of experience in technical program management
- • 3+ years of experience with data center or telecommunications infrastructure
- • Strong understanding of fiber optic infrastructure design and construction
- • Strong understanding of pre-terminated fiber technology and installation of pre-terminated fibers in an Outside Plant Environment
- • Knowledge of Civil Design of Telecommunications Infrastructure
- • Experience managing cross-functional and geographically distributed teams
- • Experience managing vendor relationships
- • Demonstrated ability to develop and track technical program KPIs
- • Excellence in stakeholder management and executive communication
- • Experience working across multiple global regions and time zones
- • PMP Certification
- • Experience with data center site design review, drafting, or consulting
- • Proficiency in Salesforce, GIS platforms, and data visualization tools
- • Deep knowledge of civil and telecom design requirements for data centers
- • Experience creating and maintaining performance dashboards using PowerBI, Tableau, or QuickSight
- • Strong understanding of technical drawing standards and drafting principles
- • Familiarity with Kaizen and continuous improvement methodologies
- • Experience managing technical review programs at scale

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
