Job description

This role is part of a regional team that owns the implementation and lifecycle management of wide area network (WAN) infrastructure assisting Amazon’s fulfillment, logistics, and corporate network across North America. The team operates at massive scale to enable the delivery of millions of customer orders every day. As an Individual Contributor, you will own the end-to-end lifecycle of voice and data circuits across the Americas region, including planning, ordering, implementation, augmentation, optimization, and decommissioning. You will play a critical role in ensuring reliable, scalable, and cost-effective network linkage to assist Amazon’s rapidly expanding infrastructure footprint. The role requires a individual with strong ownership, the ability to operate independently with limited direction, and the capability to drive large-scale initiatives across multiple geographic regions. You will contribute to automation efforts, build scalable mechanisms, and eliminate manual and repetitive processes to improve delivery speed and operational efficiency. You will work closely with Engineering, Network Operations, Supply Chain, Real Estate, Finance, and external telecom vendors to ensure high-quality and timely delivery of network services for new site launches and ongoing operations.
