The corporate Environment, Health Safety (EHS) team is predominantly responsible for offices managed by the Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) function but, also takes responsibility for non-operations sites and subsidiaries as required. We are hiring this EHS Manager role to lead the internal EHS service team in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The successful candidate will be an experienced, innovative, hands-on and customer obsessed individual, passionate about EHS, and able to identify, coordinate and drive improvements by engaging stakeholders. The successful candidate will report directly to the EHS Manager, CEMEA (Central Europe, Middle East Africa), but will be required to work with a high level of autonomy as they will not be based in the same location. The EHS Manager will be responsible for designing and implementing global, regional and local EHS policies and procedures, ensuring compliance to all applicable local and regional regulations. This role will lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce risk and ensure a safe and healthy working environment for Amazon Corporate employees.
