Operations Service Team (OST) Technicians are Amazon’s front line responders for hands-on electrical and mechanical operations and troubleshooting. They maintain, operate, troubleshoot, and repair Data Center Operation’s Mission Critical Facilities, which includes stand-by diesel generators and related fuel systems, 3 phase electrical systems that include but not limited to switchgear, UPSs, PDUs, wet cell batteries and associated systems, CRAC, centrifugal chillers, cooling towers/water chemical system, air handlers and associated systems, pumps, motors. OST is looking for a generator services technician, preferably one with experience performing routine maintenance on emergency diesel generators. The technician will be expected to coordinate and perform twelve month and below maintenance on Carter generators of different models. They will also be expected to coordinate with and monitor vendors performing more infrequent maintenance. The technician should be capable of troubleshooting minor generator issues and coordinating with site personnel for vendor support for more complex issues. This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen and must currently possess an active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility. The position further requires that, after start, the selected candidate obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph and satisfy other security related requirements. Key job…
