Amazon Shipping is our externalized business providing small parcel transportation services to sellers and shippers. Amazon Shipping leverages many of the above foundational systems together with operations capabilities to pick up packages from shipper warehouses and inject them into the AFN outbound transportation network to provide an end-to-end parcel delivery product we can sell. br/ br/ The Sr. PE in this space will develop deep understanding of Amazon’s end-to-end fulfilment and transportation operations in order to support small-parcel transportation for all Amazon marketplaces, its subsidiaries, merchants and off-Amazon shippers. br/ br/ This role will need to understand not only how a large set of technical services within Carrier Integration Services (CIS) and Amazon Shipping work together, but also how they interface and enable the adjacent functions, capabilities and programs across First Mile, Middle Mile and Last Mile as we transition to being an end-to-end carrier. br/ br/ The Sr. PE will establish the strategy and execution plan to achieve convergence of multiple legacy systems in the carrier space, gracefully manage this transition while both legacy and new systems coexist in production, and strike the right balance between feature velocity and not blocking business launches yet also avoiding accrual of technical…
