from Amazon careersAs a Global Account Manager within Amazon Web Services (AWS), you will have the opportunity to help drive the adoption and growth of emerging cloud-based technologies across the life sciences industry. More importantly, you'll help pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device customers accelerate drug discovery, streamline clinical operations, and transform their digital infrastructure to bring therapies to patients faster. Your responsibilities will include developing and managing a growing, complex customer base across life sciences accounts. You will deepen business and technical relationships and launch new customer initiatives by helping to define, identify, and pursue key opportunities — from cloud migration and data platform modernization to AI/ML-powered research, commercial analytics, and agentic automation. This includes determining the most effective go-to-market strategies and collaborating with AWS Solution Architects, Partners, Legal, Marketing, Product, Capture/Contracts, and Executive leadership. You will establish deep business and technical relationships through your knowledge of the customer's goals, regulatory environment, and technology landscape. You will have day-to-day interactions with customers and our ecosystem of partners (SIs and ISVs) that support these customers.
