As our Sr. Product Safety Assurance Analyst (Non-Foods), you'll vet new and existing WFM (Whole Foods Market) Private Brands non-food products, investigate supplier programs in accordance with regulatory and WFM requirements, and provide expert technical guidance for product and process development across Body Care, Supplements, Pet Food, and other categories with elevated risk and safety considerations. This role sits within a growing Product Safety Assurance team that supports the WWGS Private Brands business, which is currently in a period of rapid acceleration. This hire is critical to scaling our safety and quality capabilities in step with that growth. Key job responsibilities Lead commercialization readiness for Private Brands non-food products, ensuring compliance with WFM quality standards and applicable regulations; partner with WFM Legal on complex regulatory requirements. - Develop chemical, microbiological, physical, and shelf-life test requirements based on supplier data, regulatory requirements, and WFM standards - Perform supplier diligence of vendor product safety plans, facility risk assessments, and quality reports - Review product claims, vendor documents, test results, and Food Safety Plans to ensure adherence to WFM Private Brands and regulatory standards - Partner with Product Developers, Supplier Quality…
