from Amazon careersThe Global Transportation Logistics team is seeking a Logistic Specialist to optimize worldwide logistics operations through strong analytical skills, Excel proficiency, and the ability to manage tactical supply chain challenges with limited guidance. You'll develop business strategies and design workflows to determine optimal transportation selection and routing assignments that meet customer delivery needs, while leveraging your functional knowledge of procurement, transportation, and warehouse operations to analyze trends, identify cost savings, and maintain process documentation including SOPs and workflow trackers. Working at the workflow and process level, you'll partner with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, execute change management, drive operational excellence, and meet key operational metrics (SLAs, productivity, quality benchmarks) while managing risks, escalating roadblocks, and collaborating with Analytics and Tech teams to enhance data reporting across our data center logistics network.
