Amazon OpsTech Engineering is seeking an experienced Sr Technical Infrastructure Program Manager (TIPM) for our team. Amazon teams and systems create a complex ecosystem with coordination challenges for large initiatives. As a Sr TIPM of Engineering, you will need to coordinate across this network of teams and own delivery of cross organization initiatives. Using your technical background, you will need to understand implementation challenges of each organization and team, and find solutions while also earning trust with senior management to drive adoption from the top down. Key job responsibilities In this role: - You manage complex infrastructure builds, delivering critical solutions, significant improvements, new mechanisms, or deprecating processes that are no longer needed. These efforts require you to work with multiple teams in and/or across organizations. - You are accountable for the overall strategy of a large program. You successfully manage all stages (from concept to delivery). Your program meets business goals and/or shows measurable improvements in your customer’s experience, business or employee efficiency or execution, compliance adherence, financial or other metrics, etc. - You understand the interdependencies and functionality of the technologies you work with (e.g. customer requirements, deployment constraints, design limitations, operational support requirements).
