from Amazon careersProcess Assistants are pivotal in ensuring smooth daily operations — supervising shifts, allocating labour, assigning job duties, and liaising with both internal and external stakeholders. This role places a strong emphasis on compliance with the Regulated Air Cargo Agent (RACA) security program, including the processing and security clearance of Amazon air cargo, compliance oversight, and supervision of operational performance. This is a full-time role combining production work and managerial duties. The Aviation Security (AvSec) program runs an overnight operation between 9:00 PM – 12:00 PM (midday), with coverage and flexibility required across these hours. Hours are subject to change based on operational requirements, and weekend work may be required. Key job responsibilities • Support daily management of department duties, including allocating labour, leading meetings, and assigning job duties • Monitor compliance with AvSec RACA program requirements • Apply industry and Amazon best practices for the secure handling and transportation of air cargo • Track and report ATS/labour hours • Assist on the floor as an associate resource — train associates and verify SOP compliance • Ensure successful area performance through tracking, reporting, and feedback on associate productivity, quality, safety, and security • Report and manage risks and incidents; refer all…
