Join our Office Network Reliability Engineering team and help shape the network infrastructure that connects 540,000 Amazonians across 400+ corporate offices worldwide. As a Network Development Engineer, you'll move beyond traditional network operations to build automation solutions, develop self-service tools, and create the operational processes that enable our teams to resolve incidents independently—all while receiving mentorship from experienced engineers who are invested in your growth. Key job responsibilities - Provide Tier 3 escalation support by participating in the on-call rotation for the APAC regional hub, independently diagnosing and resolving well-scoped network failures including wireless access point issues, LAN connectivity problems, VLAN misconfigurations, circuit disruptions, and authentication failures, while supporting senior engineers on complex multi-site or cross-system incidents - Troubleshoot across multiple network layers including wireless (802.11, Aruba controllers), routing and switching (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP), network authentication (802.1X, RADIUS, ISE), and circuit infrastructure, recognizing when to escalate ambiguous or high-risk incidents to senior engineers - Build organizational knowledge by contributing to runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and tribal knowledge documentation that captures your troubleshooting steps, findings, and resolution details, making your expertise reusable by operations teams and future team members - Develop automation and tooling capabilities by assisting with the development of…
