As a Security Engineer on this team, you'll work at the in critical areas of tech such as AI security monitoring and cloud infrastructure protection. You won't just be watching from the sidelines - you'll be designing and building the pipelines and detection capabilities that keep Amazon's AI workloads and AWS infrastructure secure at massive scale. Key job responsibilities Design, build, and operate security logging pipelines that process billions of events daily across global AWS infrastructure. Develop monitoring and detection capabilities for AI/ML workloads, identifying security-relevant signals in an emerging and fast-moving space. Mentor teammates through code reviews, design discussions, and knowledge sharing. Write clean, well-tested, production-ready code following engineering best practices where automated testing, continuous deployment, and observability are expected. Investigate and respond to operational issues, performing root cause analysis and driving long-term fixes to prevent recurrence.
