Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) is seeking a Transportation Execution Manager to help develop a world class logistics process that delivers goods on time at the best cost. Our team objective is to manage to excellence freight execution flowing through our transportation networks, specifically focused on transportation carrier management, development, quality and performance. This role requires an ambitious individual. You’ll represent a critical function within our wider Amazon Transportation Operations, as we work to continuously improve the service levels, capacities and costs of the Amazon Brazil Transportation Line Haul. This will help us ensure promises to our valued customers are being fulfilled each and every time. Key job responsibilities - Transportation carrier performance management, such as on-time truck performance, linehaul impact to customer experience, etc. - Identify and develop appropriate performance metrics for each program and ensure consistent measurement and accountability. - Pull data from numerous databases (using Excel, Access, SQL and/or other data management systems) - Track existing metrics to detect remove any defects - Continual, tactical and strategic communication with external customers (Carriers) and internal customers (Fulfillment Centers, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Amazon Logistics) - Design short/medium-term solutions to improve performance and quality of the operations; - Continuous Improvement…
