from Amazon careersAbout the Role Amazon Lab126 is seeking an experienced Hardware Engineering Manager to join the Centralized Electrical Engineering (CEE) organization. This is a leadership role responsible for managing a multi-disciplinary team of electrical engineers spanning Signal Integrity (SI), Memory and Electro-Static Discharge (ESD) Design domains. The ideal candidate is a technically strong leader who can drive engineering excellence, influence cross-functional teams, and deliver high-quality hardware across Amazon's device portfolio. What You'll Do - Lead and manage a team of specialized hardware engineers across multiple disciplines including Signal Integrity, ESD and Memory fostering a culture of technical excellence, ownership, and continuous improvement. - Own the engineering roadmap and execution across multiple functions for subsystem development in support of Amazon device programs. - Partner with hardware design, validation and other cross-functional product teams to ensure electrical systems meet performance, reliability, and manufacturability requirements across the product development process (PDP). - Oversee ESD design strategy and implementation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and Amazon-specific requirements across device platforms. - Innovate and define ESD design workflows including simulation strategies to drive robust designs implementations and inform debug strategies. - Lead memory engineering efforts including memory subsystem design, supplier qualification, and performance characterization across DRAM,…
