As a Senior Account Executive on our Consumer Electronics & Media team in Canada, you will use your industry background and experience selling advertising solutions to large advertisers and their ad agencies in Canada to successfully grow and scale their business. Through client-side and agency relationships, a consultative approach and understanding of the digital advertising, linear TV and programmatic ad-tech landscape, you will act as a strategic partner to your assigned brands or clients and sell a broad range of advertising solutions to help meet - and exceed - their business goals. Your fluency in ad-tech capabilities, programmatic buying behaviours, and the DSP landscape will enable you to position Amazon's advertising solutions effectively and navigate complex media buying environments. As an individual contributor, you’ll be supported by our cross-functional support teams and will benefit from working alongside the leadership team that has charted the explosive growth of the Ads business in Canada.
Key job responsibilities
• Deliver high level of consultative sales to our agency and brand media clients.
• Demonstrate internal leadership across account team and partner groups.
• Build and execute overarching full-funnel strategy from big ideas to analytical recommendations.
• Create new relationships with clients at all levels within large advertiser organizations.
• Retain and grow revenue from existing advertisers.
• Identify net new revenue opportunities from existing advertisers.
• Understand Amazon's display, video, and programmatic advertising opportunities and tools to help build relevant advertising solutions for our advertisers.
• Translate ad-tech concepts (DSPs, programmatic buying, audience targeting, measurement) into business value for clients and agencies navigating complex media buying decisions.
• Utilize Sales CRM tools to track pertinent account information and sales progress as well as forecast to achieve quarterly quota goals.
• This role requires a minimum of three days a week working from the Toronto office and will require travel as needed.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of digital media ad sales experience- Experience closing sales and generating revenue
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of technology-related sales, marketing or business development experience- 4+ years of selling programmatic or data driven ad products or platforms experience
- Experience working with and influencing senior level stakeholders
- Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities

The base salary range for this position is listed below. As a total compensation company, Amazon's package may include other elements such as sign-on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and sales incentives (where applicable). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
