We are looking for a Senior Derisking Manager to join our Marketplace Compliance team in Europe, owning end-to-end tax compliance programs. This role focuses on defining Amazon’s compliance approach, and ensuring sellers meet regulatory requirements at scale.
The candidate will drive high-impact, complex programs across legal, product, tech, and operations teams, shaping seller experience, compliance strategy, and execution. A key part of the role is leveraging automation and AI (e.g., AI agents, Kiro) to scale compliance, reduce manual effort, and improve accuracy.
This role requires strong analytical skills , a hands-on approach to automation, and the ability to translate regulatory and business problems into scalable, tech-driven solutions.
Key job responsibilities
1. Own a tax compliance program end-to-end as a single-threaded leader, from regulation monitoring to full implementation across Amazon and its sellers.
2. Define Amazon’s compliance strategy and requirements.
3. Design and continuously improve the seller experience, including communication, education, and enforcement mechanisms to drive high compliance rates.
4. Work cross-functionally with product and tech teams to build scalable systems that enforce compliance with high accuracy and minimal manual intervention.
5. Identify and implement automation opportunities using AI and tools such as Kiro to scale compliance operations and eliminate repetitive tasks.
6. Translate complex regulatory requirements into simple, executable processes and scalable technical solutions.
7. Monitor performance, accuracy, and compliance metrics; drive continuous improvements to ensure high quality and efficiency.

- Experience working cross functionally with tech teams
- Strong Stakeholder management with experience leading complex end to end projects
- Fluent in using AI vibe coding tools
