from Amazon careersThe WW Supply Planning Manager owns supply planning execution for a portfolio of Ring products, from production forecasting through finished goods delivery. This role is the operational core of the supply chain, ensuring the right inventory is in the right place at the right time while maintaining program-level KPIs and driving continuous improvement. Key job responsibilities Execute production strategies across the product lifecycle, including new product builds, weekly production forecasts, and long-range planning inputs. Own and maintain supply planning KPIs (ie: weeks of cover, in-stock rates, air mix, and EOL inventory). Develop and maintain production schedules using capacity plans, material constraints, and demand forecasts. Monitor demand changes and assess supply impact; communicate risks and gaps to stakeholders proactively. Place weekly purchase orders to meet Global Allocation requirements in Amazon systems, collaborating with regional allocation planners. Generate and distribute supply planning reports (air mix, WOC, in-stock availability, etc.). Support cost and risk mitigation efforts including transportation mode optimization, inventory carrying cost reduction, and waste/scrap minimization. Use AI-powered analytics to surface supply chain insights and support more informed decision making. Build and maintain automated solutions for routine planning tasks and reporting.
